ABOUT JVS INVENTIONS: I am a Registered U.S. Patent Agent with experience in most aspects of patent applications, including international filing, continuations, petitions, and appeals. I am also an inventor and product designer. I draw the patent drawings myself with a CAD program. This gives me a clear understanding of the product, and allows me to optimize the drawings and specification together. I can also import CAD drawings made by a client.
A U.S. PATENT AGENT is a patent application specialist who has passed an extensive examination for registration with the U.S. Patent Office (the same exam taken by patent attorneys), and can file and prosecute patent applications for clients. Patent agents are not attorneys, and thus cannot provide litigation, licensing, copyright, or trademark services, but are normally less expensive than patent attorneys.
